How to mount an LED

The Essentials:

• • The LED

  • Surface on which you are mounting it (We have used a cage plate)

  • Surface purifier solution

  • Cotton swab(s)

  • Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive - Part A & Part B

STEP 1: Clean the surface of the cage plate with the surface purifier solution using a cotton swab.

STEP 2: Mix Part A & Part B in a 1:1 ratio (We put Part A & Part B of the glue on a weigh boat and mixed it with the distal end of the cotton swab)

Note: Wear gloves before you start using the glue.

STEP 3: Apply an amount of glue depending on the size of the LED you are mounting. You may do this using the distal end of the cotton swab.

STEP 4: Mount the LED. Center it and level it. Wait for about 45 minutes to an hour for the glue to dry.
